Ahead of New York’s visit to Gillette Stadium on Sunday, the Patriots Twitter account decided to add a little spice to the rivalry. Considering the Jets’ inability to win on the field -- losing seven of the last eight contests -- it was out of necessity more than anything.
Much like an actual game of football, the Patriots proved to be at a higher level than their opponent.

Unfortunately, the tweet -- unlike murder, deflating footballs and videotaping practices -- didn’t meet the standard of “The Patriot Way.”
