Despite being out for the final game of the preseason, Cavaliers head coach David Blatt is confident that LeBron James will be ready for their opening game against the Bulls on Oct. 27.
James recently received an anti-inflammatory shot in the back, similar to the one he received in January due to a back injury. Even though he did not suffer additional injuries, the shot was given to prepare him and the injury-laden Cavs team for the upcoming season.

James told the Northeast Ohio Media Group that he doesn't think the Cavs will be abe to play "at a high level" when they take on the Bulls in the opening game.
"I don't think we will immediately be able to play at a high level because we have so many guys out," James said. "I don't think our chemistry is where it needs to be to start the season off.
"I think as we get guys back into the flow of things, guys come back off of injury and we're able to put the time in on the practice floor, I think we'll be a much better team."

The anti-inflammatory shot was to keep James out of games this week. The Cavs star was also sick these past few days and took Tamiflu. The same day the Cavs star was given the shot, he was sent home from The Q Tuesday night while his team were playing against Milwaukee.
During the preseason, the Cavs has been devastated by injury: Kevin Love (shoulder surgery), Kyrie Irving (knee surgery), and Iman Shumpert (wrist surgery) missing the whole preseason to this point, and J.R. Smith (hamstring), Matthew Dellavedova (ankle), and Timofey Mozgov (soreness from knee surgery) have all missed games.
