You know that 27-23 loss you’re still mourning, Michigan fans? Blake O’Neill doesn’t care. He’s even cracking jokes about it.
“I don’t know if there was a healing process,” O’Neill said, per Detroit Free Press. “You make errors in a football game, you learn from them and you sort of move on."

As for his place in history, O’Neill joked that he and long snapper Scott Sypniewski will be tied together “for the rest of our lives.” Not exactly the kind of legacy you want to leave behind at Ann Arbor, but the Australian native is less than concerned. It's still better than the legacy Brady Hoke -- the former failed head coach who doubles as Captain Hindsight on the weekends -- left behind.
So keep those tears coming, Michigan. No one -- especially O’Neill -- cares.
