Shredz has become all the rage. If you’re big on Instagram, you have probably seen it pop up along the way. Shredz is a weight loss supplement, but it’s also a lifestyle. It gained popularity when founder Arvin Lal recruited local fitness personalities with huge personalities to stump for his supplement online and get the movement to spread virally.
According to Business Insider, it really exploded on Instagram. "We want to get people to change their lives, not just lose weight," Lal said, and explained that Instagram’s focus on just photos was a perfect forum to advertise his product.
There’s no arguing with the effectiveness of Instagram as a platform.
