The Mets hate train has been swapped out for a love bandwagon.
Mets Face Questions Over NLCS Rotation
After New York ousted Los Angeles with a 3-2 win in NLDS Game 5, supporters of all different varieties sounded off on Twitter. Sure, you had the usual suspects, guys like avid Met fan and comedian Jim Breuer, former Mets greats Mike Piazza and Doc Gooden, but you also had some surprises.
One of the guys who would be a suspected Met hater, or at least loathed by the Amazin's fan base, is former Braves star Chipper Jones, who tweeted his support of Game 5 winner Jacob deGrom and the Mets. Then again, perhaps it's not that shocking, considering the former Atlanta third baseman revealed he "finds himself rooting" for the Mets this postseason.
