The playoffs are in full swing, but the competition is even tighter between the best WAGs on every team.

There is a lot to be envious of when it comes to professional athletes. They play a sport for a living, they make a butt load of cash. But perhaps even greater than all of that is the quality of good-looking girls they seem to constantly reel in.

Here is a team-by-team look at the best WAGs for each club in the playoffs, starting with the National League and moving on through to the American League. Cardinals: Mackenzie Carpenter

Matt Carpenter's wife is his high school sweetheart, and it's hard to blame him for sticking with her. This blonde bombshell is sure to make anybody's day brighter.

Cubs: Melissa Reidy

Addison Russell's future is bright in the baseball world, especially with the Cubs a game away from ousting the Cardinals and advancing to the NLCS for the first time since 2003, but perhaps his biggest success has come off the field. Reidy is absolutely gorgeous and even if the "Back to the Future" premonition doesn't come true for the Cubbies, Russell has something amazing to come home to.

Dodgers: Emily Kuchar

With motivation and support from a beautiful blonde like Kuchar, it's no wonder Zack Greinke had one of the best seasons in his career while looking to get paid next season. The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and 2008 Miss Daytona Beach USA married the former Cy Young winner in 2009, making him the envy of his gender.

Mets: Molly Beers

David Wright found Mrs. Wright in one of the hottest models on Earth. Beers is absolutely breathtaking and her last name kicks ass. It's no wonder the Mets franchise player was in a rush to lock her down.

Royals: Kacie McDonnell

Eric Hosmer may have fell one-game shy of winning the World Series last year, but the Kansas City first baseman won the World Series of life when he landed McDonnell. The MLS broadcaster is an absolute smoke show.

Astros: Mackenzie Valk

Dallas Keuchel's beard may be intimidating, but it was good enough to land a smokin' hot blonde in Valk. With his relationship off the field, it's no wonder Keuchel has become one of the best pitchers on it.

Blue Jays: Danyll Gammon

Troy Tulowitzki is finally getting a taste of the playoffs again, but even if the Blue Jays falter in their do-or-die Game 5, life seems to be great for the shortstop. The Toronto slugger met Gammon in high school and it's no wonder they survived the test of time. He also attributes a lot of his success to her, and who could argue that?

Rangers: Heidi Hamels

If you thought Cole Hamels hit the jackpot by getting out of Philadelphia, you probably didn't realize that he already won the ladies lottery when he landed his wife Heidi. This blonde beauty is a former "Survivor" contestant.
