Today at 4:07 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1, the Blue Jays will try to capitalize on their rousing Game 3 win in Game 4 of the ALDS vs. the Rangers. Today’s game will be in Texas, and can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Blue Jays fans can listen to the action on SN590 The Fan, while Rangers fans may do likewise on 103.3 ESPN.

The Blue Jays will send R.A. Dickey (11-11, 3.91 ERA) to the mound vs. Derek Holland (4-3, 4.91 ERA).

Dickey is much older than Holland, but the Rangers left-hander is the one with the plethora of postseason experience. He has a career 3.79 postseason ERA in 13 appearances, while Dickey, 40, has never pitched in the playoffs.

"He's been here before, he's been in these type of games and has shown up very well in the fast," Rangers manager Jeff Banister said. "We expect Derek to come out and throw a quality baseball game for us."

On Sunday, ace David Price was available for the Jays out of the bullpen, but didn’t pitch. They elected not to use him in Game 4 on short rest, and instead turn to Dickey, who has no experience. That might be because of Price’s shaky postseason history.

Price surrendered five earned runs to Texas in Game 1 of this series, and owns a career 4.79 ERA in the playoffs. He would be pitching on three days’ rest if he started today’s tilt.
