From flying bodies to horrific injuries, Hell in a Cell has more than lived up to its name.

The match stipulation, which began when The Undertaker battled Shawn Michaels in 1997, has spawned into one of the most storied traditions in the WWE, even getting its own pay-per-view and WWE Network special every October.

5 Potential Outcomes To Seth Rollins vs. Kane

Throughout the years, the Hell in a Cell match has led to some of the most memorable and awe-inspiring moments in WWE history. That should be no different when the WWE presents Hell in a Cell live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Oct. 25.

Here are the five craziest Hell in a Cell moments:

Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt -- Who Needs A Win More?

5) Rollins, Ambrose Fall From Grace

Former Shield stablemates Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose battled it out inside Hell in a Cell at last year's event. One of the craziest spots of the bout saw both men climb on the outside of the cage and knock each other off. The former friends went crashing through the announce table in a scary fall.

4) Mayhem for Michaels

Shawn Michael's nickname is the "Heartbreak Kid," but he's lucky everything didn't break during his cell match with The Undertaker at Badd Blood in 1997. During the bout, Michaels was dangling off the top of the cage and the relentless Undertaker, who was standing on the roof, kicked Michaels' hands, causing him to free fall through the announce table.

3) Game Over

Mick Foley is known as a legend for the bumps he took in these types of matches and that was never more apparent than when he donned his Cactus Jack persona to take on Triple H inside the Devil's Playground at No Way Out 2000. "The Game" back body dropped Foley through the cage and as if that wasn't enough, he crashed through the ring canvas.

2) Rikishi Is Trucked

During the mania that was a six-man cell bout for the WWE Championship at Armageddon 2000, The "Demon From Death Valley" struck again. A flatbed truck was inexplicably brought out to ringside and The Undertaker used it to his advantage, chokeslamming Rikishi off the top of the cell and into the truck.

1) The Night Mick Foley Almost Died

File this one under insanity, because nearly two decades later, we're still trying to figure out how Mick Foley is still alive -- let alone how he walked out of Pittsburgh after his cell clash with Undertaker at King of the Ring in 1998. First, Foley was thrown OFF OF THE CELL through the announce table (!!!). If that wasn't enough to show you that Foley lost his freakin' mind, he managed to return to the ring only to get chokeslammed through the top of the cage. He lost the match (obviously), but won the hearts of many fans with his insane work that night. He also had a tooth in his nose following the second bump and was seen smiling. Hardcore Legend? Certainly. Out of his mind? Definitely.
