Jerry Jones started off the conversation trying to diffuse any controversy over his defensive end's comments about Tom Brady's wife.

The Cowboys owner, however, finished it sounding kind of creepy himself, as SI.com reported.

Jones was asked about newly reinstated defensive end Greg Hardy's remarks about coming out "guns blazin'" in his return from a four game suspension Sunday when the Cowboys take on the Patriots. Hardy also made comments about Gisele Bundchen and her sister, saying that he hopes both will be at the game.

Hardy's suspension stemmed from an accusation of tossing his ex-girlfriend on a bed of rifles as part of a domestic violence conviction that was later thrown out of court.

After Jones said he thought Hardy was simply trying to express himself, the owner was asked about Hardy's comments.

"When I saw him marry her [Gisele], Tom went up in my eyes 100 percent," Jones said. "She's very, very attractive and it shows what an outstanding individual Tom is."

Apparently, Jones was not asked to clarify that comment. Perhaps, he should have.

Even Hardy didn't sound that vain in his initial comments.

"I love seeing Tom Brady, he's cool as crap," Hardy said, according to NESN.com. "Have you seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game, all her friends come to the game. One of my favorite games of the year, guys."

Besides, the Cowboys have more pressing matters in front of them than to be making comments about Tom Brady's wife.
