High School Coaches Fight [VIDEO]:Brawl Breaks Out After Alabama Football Game Between Cullman and Walker

A violent and bloody fist fight broke out between two Alabama high school football coaches following a game between Walker and Cullman high schools.

According to Examiner, the fight broke out late last Friday between Cullman defensive coordinator Matt Hooper and Walker head coach John Holladay. Examiner reports that Holliday is facing a suspension for an undetermined amount of time from the Alabama High School Athletics Association, but neither team was suspended or banned from upcoming games.

Police had to separate the two coaches, who fought at the end of the game and set a terrible example for their players.

The site reports that the superintendents for both schools, Robert Sparkman and Doreen Griffeth, met Tuesday with officials of the AHSAA in Montgomery to discuss what happened, what punishments should be made and what the two sides can do to prevent brawls in the future.

While no decision was finalized aside from Holliday's administrative leave, Steve Savarese, director of the AHSAA, said that a decision will be revealed soon regarding the punishments over the fight, according to Examiner.

"The AHSAA is saddened by the incident that occurred during the Cullman vs. Walker varsity football game and disappointed by the actions of those involved," Savarese said, according to Examiner. "The AHSAA is always disappointed by any unsportsmanlike incident that involves players or coaches from our member schools. Our coaches are teachers first, and must demonstrate examples of good sportsmanship at all times."

The cause of the fight wasn't initially reported, but it broke out shortly after Cullman beat Walker 13-10 Friday night. Reports indicate that tempers were high after a few questionable calls from officials, and Cullman won on a six-yard run for a score with just 18 seconds left.

"Following the high school coaches' fight, the Alabama High School Athletics Association is currently investigating the brawl that erupted only after Cullman won Friday night's football game against Walker with a score of 13-10," Savarese said per Examiner. "Video footage of the fight, as well as information from witnesses on both sides, are also being considered before any final decision is made on possible suspensions or potential removal for the Alabama coaches involved."
