Lamar Odom Cheating, Drug Use Getting Worse: Former Los Angeles Laker Arrested On DUI As Dealer Talks About Cocaine Abuse [VIDEO]

A New York City man claiming to a "dealer to the stars" and Lamar Odom's personal dealer pleads with him to get help in a  new RadarOnline.com story, asserting: "Dude, you're an addict. This is becoming to the point where you could lose your life."

According to Radar, despite those pleas and other efforts to aid him in overcoming his alleged addiction, such as an intervention staged last week where several of his old Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers teammates attended, Odom has remained resisted to the idea of rehab.

The website previously reported Odom was in a treatment center sometime last summer, but abruptly bolted after just three weeks and despite his wife, reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, hiring an armed guard to stand watch outside his room.

All Odom's troubles multiplied last week when he was arrested on DUI charges in California. In addition to failing several field sobriety tests, police said he showed "obvious signs" of being intoxicated and refused to submit to any chemically related tests. California law now mandates that his driver's license be suspended for at least one year.  It's been reported Odom has already hired famed O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Shapiro to represent him.

The man claiming to be his dealer also told Radar Odom has a "huge problem" with drugs to go with a very addictive personality. So much so, he alleges he's spent over $50,000 on cocaine over the last three years and once even went on a binge just before a Clippers vs. Knicks game at Madison Square Garden last year.

"The only thing I know he does is cocaine," the man told Radar."In my experience, he literally likes cocaine - he is a cocaine guy." The man also recounts one instance where he insists he witnessed Odom freebasing drugs.

"Specifically, I want to say it was February 2013," he told Radar. "He was in New York. For other reasons, I don't really want to give the specific location of the place... but he was in New York. "

The man later tells Radar Odom was actually in town for a Feb. 10 game against and actually "spent about "16 grand on drugs" during his purported binge.

"I know it for a fact because I sold him the stuff and saw him smoke it," the man told Radar. "Quantity wise it was a little under half a kilo."

A free agent, Odom now finds himself a man without a team and apparently not many would-be takers. After going on record earlier this summer in asserting they were interested in bringing him back, the Clippers moved last week to instead sign veteran forward Antwan Jamison.

One NBA GM told reporters last week the NBA veteran is "beyond toxic" and his NBA career is likely over.

"Just going by what he is giving you on the court, he would have been a risk anyway, maybe someone you give a partial guarantee to just to see if he can turn things around," the unidentified team exec told reporters. "But with the circus that's around him off the court now, no way. I think that's the end of Lamar Odom in the NBA. It's a shame."
