The Divas Revolution's turning point could very well be when Paige cut a tantalizing promo two weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, at least she hopes.

The two-time Divas Champion sensed what everyone else around the WWE Universe had, noting that the "Divas Revolution" was more an advertising ploy than an actual change in the ranks among the WWE's ladies. She then came up with the idea to cut a pipe bomb -- or as she calls it, a Paige bomb -- about the state of the division.

John Cena, Nikki Bella Possibly Getting Together In WWE Storylines

Paige recently opened up about what went into the promo, including her edgy words toward The Bella Twins, whom she burned by bringing up their relationships to John Cena and Daniel Bryan leading to political pull.

"I felt like the whole 'Divas Revolution' thing started to get stale," Paige told Channel Guide Magazine. "I thought it definitely needed a kick in the ass a little bit. Vince [McMahon] and our writers were so cool with the promo. They definitely gave me the freedom to say what I wanted. I kept it as tame as possible. I wanted to go a little bit harder, but I thought, 'Nah, I'll save it.'"

Paige, who has fluctuated from babyface to heel on a few different occasions in her brief career, said she enjoys playing the role of the villain.

"It was definitely an adrenaline rush. I wanted to be the bad guy and am happy to be the bad guy," Paige said. "I don't mind being hated. But the crowd was so receptive to it and great. They were cheering most of it. I was like, 'No, that's not the way it was supposed to be.' It was great. I was very nervous before doing it. I just wanted to get out there and kick some butt and light a fire under the Divas Revolution again."

Paige said the Divas movement was great at first, but went back to its stale ways and she hopes now that her PCB stable is in shambles, things will get better.

Perhaps the sassy English native sparked the real Divas Revolution.
