The Eagles defeated the Jets 24-17 on Sunday. No one -- not even the thousands in attendance at MetLife -- enjoyed it. No one -- not even the millions watching at home -- enjoyed it.

Well, no one but Tim Tebow.

Jaguars, Browns, Redskins Should Give Tebow A Chance In 2015

The former Heisman Trophy winner was previously employed by both franchises, but was never involved in long-term plans. Watching Sam Bradford and Ryan Fitzpatrick on Sunday will make you question why.

Bradford -- despite the win -- finished a pedestrian 14-of-28 for 118 yards and one TD. Fitzpatrick didn’t fare any better, finishing 35-of-58 for 283 yards and two TDs. It was his three interceptions, however, that highlighted his ineptitude from the pocket.

Could Tebow -- the only QB in this conversation with a playoff victory -- have done any worse?

The victory breathes new life into the Eagles’ season. Avoiding an 0-3 start allows Chip Kelly to keep pursuing a postseason berth. The Jets loss, by comparison, brings the team back down to reality.

Fitzpatrick is not an NFL QB. He proved it Buffalo, he reminded you in Houston and he’s solidifying that notion in New York.
