Lamar Odom's nightmare summer continues.
According to TMZ, Odom was arrested early Friday morning on DUI charges after police allegedly observed him driving too slowly on the 101 Freeway in San Fernando Valley. California Highway officers said patrolman spotted Odom driving at 50 MPH and after cops pulled him over he "showed obvious signs of intoxication."
TMZ reports police add Odom did not respond to their initial attempts to pull over and continued driving past three exits before finally coming to a stop. Police said he failed several field sobriety tests and refused to submit to any tests for drugs or other chemicals.
He is now being held on $15,000 bail. TMZ reported earlier this week that Odom also has a "hardcore" drug problem and spent as much as three weeks in a rehab treatment center before abruptly bolting.
Also this summer, at least two women have stepped forward to claim they engaged in longtime affairs with the 33-year-old NBA veteran. Jennifer Richardson, a 29-year-old Washington stripper, and Polina Polonsky, a California attorney, both have launched such allegations, with Richardson even insisting she and Odom openly talked of having a child together.
According to TMZ, Richardson later took and passed a lie detector test related to her claims.
