James Harden will officially begin endorsing Adidas on Oct. 1. And apparently not a minute before.
Less than a week after Harden was photographed wearing Nike Air Jordans on a date with girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, another picture of The Beard in a pair of Nikes surfaced on TMZ Sports.

Early last month after Harden's shoe contract with Nike reportedly expired, he signed a 13-year, $200 million contract with Adidas. Kardashian has gotten into the Adidas spirit, twice wearing Adidas gear when photographed with Harden.
But the Rockets star has not yet grasped the concept that as a Kardashian extension, he's going to be photographed and video recorded wherever he goes.

After the Sept. 14 incident in which Harden first was shown in Air Jordans -- also reported by TMZ Sports -- Adidas told ESPN that Harden would have to stop wearing Nikes before Oct. 1. "That's part of the deal."
"The difference between football and basketball is that a guy like Aaron Rodgers doesn't have a walk-around shoe," Adidas North America president Mark King said. "Harden does, and he will be in our lifestyle stuff."
Except, Harden hasn't been to this point. He told TMZ Sports he smoothed things over with Adidas after the first photo of him wearing Nikes surfaced.
TMZ, however, doesn't think Adidas will be as forgiving the second time around.
"So, here's how this plays back at Adidas HQ -- 'Our poster boy thinks Nike is better ... 'cause he keeps wearing them even though we're paying him $200 MILLION!!!!'" TMZ Sports wrote. "Which begs the question -- who's gettin' fired?!?"
After two public displays of wearing the competitor's brand, Harden may have indeed put his contact with Adidas in a precarious position.
