The Seahawks are 0-2, and Seattle's fan base -- the vaunted 12th man -- is going to extreme measures to force a turnaround. Quarterback Russell Wilson isn't the root cause of the team's problems, but a certain segment of fans think his relationship with R&B singer Ciara is a pox on him. That's why they started a GoFundMe campaign to break them up.

Here's the description of the since-deleted campaign -- file this into the "You Can't Make This Stuff Up" category.

Wilson, Ciara Allowed To Reach Certain Bases, Can't "Do The Home Run"

"Us Seahawks fans would love to see our team winning again. After seeing how great Future Hendrix career has been since Ciara broke up with him. We think the same thing can happen to Russell Wilson again!!

After his wife cheated on him he won his first Super Bowl. We're certain his next big breakup will encourage a rebound of epic proportions. So to do this we're gonna get Ciara's career back on track so she has no time to be in a relationship. Donate to save our Seahawks!!

Go 12's!!!"

Seahawks DJ Won't Play Future Because Of Ciara

The hair-brained scheme makes no sense, and is ridiculous on a few levels. For starters, they claim they'll get Ciara's career back on track but are fairly short on the details. Second, I'm not really sure how much $50,000 is going to help Ciara, whose net worth is estimated at about $15 million.

Finally, Wilson isn't the issue. He's thrown three touchdown passes against two interceptions, and piled up 457 yards through the air. He has also rushed 18 times for 109 yards, and Seattle is averaging 24 points per game.

Based on a recent interview Ciara gave to Bravo about their infamous lack of sexual interaction, it does not seem like they will be breaking up any time soon.

"It's so many great things about him that keep me intrigued that I'm so good with the base of what we're creating right now," Ciara said. "I think that what's so cool about it is that it allows us to create a foundation of friendship with each other, and I really believe if we can get that strong we can conquer everything with our love."

Seahawks fans...chill out. Seattle has dropped their first two games against difficult opponents, on the road. Everything will be fine.
