The Bills decided to play a dangerous game on Friday, putting an air pump display in the team store at Ralph Wilson Stadium. An innocent gesture if the Chargers are coming to town, but these are the Patriots -- the four-time Super Bowl defending champions.
Don't poke the bear, Buffalo. Don't ever poke the bear.

The culture in Buffalo has evolved under Rex Ryan, who still hasn't learned how to keep his foot out of his mouth. The Bills head coach refused to even acknowledge the importance of Patriots RB Dion Lewis.
Rex Ryan was asked about Dion Lewis today: "I don't think we're gonna focus on that kid. I can't even tell you that kid's name."

"Well, he's no Jim Nance," Ryan said, per NESN. "What's funny is, what I'm saying is, I have a lot of things to be concerned with, but the backup running back -- look, I'm going to recognize him. [LeGarrette] Blount's the main runner."
What Ryan needs to recognize is his record against the Patriots. The lazy narrative surrounding his ability to cause Tom Brady problems glosses over the fact that he's 4-9 against New England.
Adding bulletin board material -- especially against a team like the Patriots, who feed off it -- won't help alleviate that.
