Tonight at 6:00 p.m. PT Bellator 142 will get underway from San Jose, California, with mixed martial arts legend Tito Ortiz (18-11-1) challenging for the light heavyweight championship against Liam McGeary (10-0) on Spike. Fans can live stream the card free by clicking this link.

Ortiz, who had lost four of his final five fights in the UFC, has reeled off victories in his last two Bellator bouts. The man he's facing, McGeary, came up in MMA idolizing Ortiz. He was 16 when Ortiz won his first UFC title.

"I'm not going to lie; I was a little bit star-struck," McGeary told MMAjunkie of coming face-to-face with Ortiz. "I've never stood next to Tito Ortiz. I've (only) seen him on TV a few times."

McGeary, 32, is a huge favorite to beat the 40-year-old Ortiz, but he is refusing to discount the danger Ortiz poses.

"Everyone knows who Tito is; he's been around the sport for a long time," McGeary said.

"For me to do what I'm going to do to him on Sept. 19, and to have all these people watching this, is going to be a really good feeling. It's going to make people realize when they open their eyes that Liam McGeary is the next best thing. Just like Tito Ortiz was - Liam McGeary is."

With the humility out of the way, Mcgeary then got comfortable and predicted an explosive outcome.

"I see me knocking him out; I'm going first round," McGeary said. "These five-rounders are tiring. I'm just going to keep hitting him in the face."

Prediction: McGeary def. Ortiz by TKO (Round 2)
