Neither one is talking about it anymore, so it must be a done deal -- "Wattniacki" is history.

A few weeks after Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki said she didn't want to talk about J.J. Watt, the Texans defensive end confirmed his bachelor status, saying he's tried to date but to no avail, according to NFL.com

J.J. Watt Denies Having A Girlfriend After Meeting Jennifer Aniston

"When television cameras caught Watt sitting next to Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki during the Wisconsin-Duke title game, there was obvious speculation that they were a couple," NFL.com reported. "Yet if it seems as though Watt is living a charmed dating life, he insists that isn't the case."

Said Watt: "People [I know] think that I've never dated before, or whatever. But I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm just unsuccessful. My schedule's so crazy and life's so busy, it just hasn't worked."

Ironically, Watt added that he wants to start a family.

"Trust me, I would love to have a wife and kids," he told NFL.com. "I would very much enjoy that. But I also know that you have to be in the right place to do that. You have to find the right situation, and you have to be in that right mindset where you can give everything you have to that. Because whatever I do, I want to be the best at. I want to be the best husband. I want to be the best father. And I need to make sure that I have figured out the proper balance in my life so that I can give the proper time and energy that's needed for that situation."

When Wozniacki was engaged to golfer Rory McIlroy, she said she was ready to give up her tennis career to raise a family.

"I want to be a relatively young mother, and I do not see it as being too far in the future," Wozniacki told Tennis World in the spring of 2014. "I have always even been like that I would even want to bring up my children. Therefore, I have no dream to make my mark. Instead, I enjoy economic freedom (that) my hard work has given me. It means that I can give my children the best start in life by being there 100 percent for them."

Watt and Wozniacki seemed to be the perfect fit for each other. But what happened between them is anyone's guess.
