Marshawn Lynch's mother isn't one to easily forgive and forget.

The Seahawks lost Sunday's season-opener 34-31 to the Rams in overtime, but it was the stunning defeat in Super Bowl XLIX to the Patriots in February that was fresh on Delisa Lynch's mind.

Marshawn's mother believes that offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell made the right call to hand her son the ball in the final play of Sunday's loss, but she still harbors ill will toward him for the Super Bowl play calling -- going as far as to say he should be fired.

With Seattle down by three and facing a fourth-and-1 from the Rams 43 with the game on the line, Bevell called for the ball to be handed off to Lynch, but he was stopped by the St. Louis defense to end Sunday's game.

Bevell and Seattle have been facing a lot of scrutiny for not running the ball with Lynch during the Super Bowl when they trailed New England by four points, but had possession on the Patriot's one-yard line. Bevell called a passing play with 20 seconds left in that game, and Malcolm Butler intercepted the ball, eventually sealing the victory for the Patriots.

Though Bevell tried to do right by handing her son the ball with the game on the line in St. Louis on Sunday, Delisa believed it was a failed attempt at making up for the Super Bowl loss and called him the "worst play-caller ever."

"Too the smart azz media who wrote that's why marshawn didn't get the ball in the superbowl ,how many times did russell get sacked yesterday," Delisa wrote in a post on her official Facebook page. "Dont worry i will wait on the answer plus it was totally different at the superbowl the line was better than yesterday no blocking and to the offense caller who should have been fired yes i said it Fired !!! He is the worst play-caller ever the only reason he called that dumb azz play yesterday is to be able to justify the 1 yard that wasn't called in the superbowl ,but most fans already figured this out .were still on a mission but i know the Seahawks staff loves that play caller more than a win ,go figure ‪#‎nfldontpayme# I love this team and will stand up to anybody who tries to destroy it boom!!!!"

The scathing critque has since been removed, but a screenshot of it can be viewed here.

Bevell and the Seahawks travel to Green Bay to play the Packers in Week 2 -- the very team they beat in the NFC Championship Game last season to advance to that fateful Super Bowl.
