Unfortunately the happiness of football season returning also brings out some of the worst fans.

Every year it seems that there are multiple fan fights in stadiums, parking lots, bathrooms or other places and it didn't take long for that trend to continue early in the 2015 campaign. Following the 49ers 20-3 victory over the Vikings at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area, a fracas broke out between fans of both of the teams.

Packers Concerned About Tackling As Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks Come To Town

A video surfaced online that shows a group of 49ers fans kicking and punching a Vikings supporter in an Antoine Winfield jersey in the parking lot of the stadium. It was hard to see how the brawl began, but the video picks up with one 49ers fan on top of the Vikings fan punching him over and over.

Another person wearing a Jerry Rice jersey then kicks the Minnesota supporter in the head very early on in the video.

A security guard attempted to break up the melee, but he was no match for the gaggle of 49ers fans getting involved in the fight. Thankfully, other San Francisco supporters were on hand to try and keep the peace and they helped security end the vicious scrap.

The Vikings fan walked off on his own power.

With the fight being joined in-progress, it was hard to tell how everything started, but Brandon Cosio, the person who uploaded the fight on his Facebook page, later cleared things up by offering his eye witness account of what happened.

"The Viking fan in the video and a 49er fan NOT in the video were talking smack to each other, getting into each others faces," Cosio wrote on Facebook. "A lot of fans from both sides were telling both people to stop and just walk to their cars. The 49er fan then walked away from the situation and that's when the Viking fan may have got a little cocky. The Viking fan turned around and addressed everyone behind him (mostly 49er fans). He said " what's up, any of you f--kers want some?!" At that point everyone went silent for 2 seconds then as the Viking fan was turning around to walk away, the 49er fan in the black (at the beginning of the video who threw the first punch) tackled him to the ground. That's where the video starts."

Unfortunately, this likely won't be the final stadium fight this season, if history is any guide.
