Kris Jenner is fuming about the cheating and drug scandal involving her reality TV star daughter Khloe Kardashian and her allegedly drug-addicted NBA husband, and is afraid the bad press could ultimately have a grave impact on the entire Kardashian brand, according to RadarOnline.
Khloe and Lamar Odom are at the center of a growing scandal that only seems to grow more bizarre by the day. After being vilified as someone who’s constantly cheated on his wife, Odom is now being dogged by allegations he has a “hardcore” drug problem and “crack” cocaine is his drug of choice.
On Tuesday, Radar reported Kardashian family members now also fear the 33-year-old NBA veteran is hooked on the drugs OxyContin and Ambien. It’s also been widely reported Odom spent at least three weeks at a drug treatment center last summer before abruptly bolting.
In addition, at least two women have recently stepped forward to claim they engaged in longtime affairs with Odom, with 29-year-old Washington stripper Jennifer Richardson adding they openly talked about having a child together.
“Kris is seeing red,” a family insider told Radar. “Kris fiercely protects the Kardashian brand name and empire and to now have it associated with a drug problem, to her, it’s unacceptable. She used to be very close to Lamar, but she is disgusted by what happened.”
Radar reports that Odom and Kardashian, 29, are now living apart, though neither one has formally filed for separation.
Odom played last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, but is now a free agent.
