Pick a team, give them a record and keep your predictions moving. That's not the game being played here.

In order to celebrate the glorious return of the NFL, five bold predictions have been concocted for the AFC. None involve a win-loss record. None involve the Jacksonville Jaguars, nor the Cleveland Browns. You have to be relevant to make this list.
Below are five bold predictions sure to go wrong in the AFC this season.
Calm Down Miami, New England Still AFC East Favorites
The Steelers Will Miss The Playoffs
Look at that Steelers secondary, they couldn't stop a nosebleed.
It doesn't bode well that the unit will be thrown to the wolves in Week 1, facing an annoyingly motivated Tom Brady. Facing Joe Flacco (twice), Philip Rivers, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson and Peyton Manning this season doesn't help, either. Two teams will qualify for the playoffs from the AFC North. The Steelers won't be one of them.
Rumblings that the #steelers are already shaking up their secondary. Before the first game. Brady will definitely sweep the leg tonight

Andrew Luck Will Break A Single-Season Passing Record
Pick one. Most passing yards (5,084). Most passing TDs (50). Highest Passer Rating (121.1).
One will belong to Andrew Luck by season's end.
The former No. 1-overall pick has shown immense growth since entering the league in 2012. His ability to read a defense set him apart from RG3. His ability to command an offense will set him apart from the rest of the conference in 2015.

The Raiders Will Win More Games Than The Jets
The Raiders have a QB, the Jets don't. That's enough to make a difference in the win-loss column.
Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the 28th QB to start for #Jets since Namath's last game for them in '76. It's quite a list: pic.twitter.com/9WpvoD6bjx

Tyrod Taylor Won't Last The Season
So his name isn't EJ Manuel, nor Matt Cassel, but this is still Tyrod Taylor we're still talking about. The same Tyrod Taylor that didn't take a single snap in 2014 and is yet to throw for 200 yards in his career. At 6'1" 215 lbs, he also hasn't had to withstand the rigors of an NFL season. This is a marathon -- not a race -- and one Taylor won't be able to survive.
The Bills paid a DL and RB a combined $148M, but will start Tyrod Taylor at QB. Rex Ryan football!

The Colts Will Eliminate The Patriots En Route To The Super Bowl
It's already been established this will be Luck's year. The additions of Frank Gore and Andre Johnson -- not to mention the departure of Trent Richardson -- will make this the Colts' year as well. As if stolen from the pages of a movie script, the Patriots will succumb to the team's success along the way.
