Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, the gift that keeps on giving.
The 27-year-old featured for Mexico in an international friendly on Tuesday, providing a goal and the same calamitous moments synonymous with his game.

Facing the No. 1 team in the world, Argentina, it was Hernandez who opened the affair in the 19th minute. His confident and clinical penalty tucked just inside the right post.
It all went downhill from there.

The first of many botched opportunities came just before the half. One-on-one with Nahuel Guzman, Hernandez failed to even reach his mark, sending a right-footed shot wide of the post. Poor touches and inaccurate passes squandered several fast-break opportunities early in the second half.
His most damning moment, however, came in the 66th minute.
Unable to reach a cross inside the 6-yard box, Hernandez extended his arm in an attempt to recreate Diego Maradona’s famed “Hand of God." But like most things Hernandez does, it simply wasn’t good enough.
He was subsequently booked by the official and subbed off 12 minutes later.
Much like Hernandez, Mexico collapsed late in the match. Goals from Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi erased a 2-0 lead.
Just when it appeared Mexico was going to hold on against world No. 1 Argentina last night... Messi happened. https://t.co/DYvMFpL3TF
