Hopefully Tiger Woods didn't fall for the ninth green at nine trick.
The golf great met another legendary golfer when he crossed paths with Shooter McGavin over Labor Day Weekend at the U.S. Open. It's unknown where it emanated from, but Woods and "Happy Gilmore" actor Christopher McDonald were photographed together some time during the weekend.

McDonald portrayed McGavin, an arrogant pro golfer who was angered by failed hockey player-turned-golf superstar Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) making a mockery of the sport in the 1996 film. The movie was panned by many critics, but has a cult following.
It appears as though McGavin got over his Pro Golf Tour loss to Gilmore in the film and was able to give Woods some advice during his visit to the Open. The greatest mystery behind this stroke of brilliance is who actually took the photo.

Woods didn't post the picture of the two together on his social media accounts and McDonald doesn't have any verified accounts, so the origin of the amazing photo remains in question. It is likely that the person behind the McGavin parody Twitter account (@ShooterMcGavin_) either took the photo or had it passed along to him/her, according to Bleacher Report.
It's unconfirmed, but after taking the photo, Woods and McGavin may have just ate some hay, made things out of clay, and laid by the bay.
