Odell Beckham's greatest catch came before the season even started.

Entering the start of his sophomore campaign when the Giants take on the Cowboys on "Sunday Night Football" this week, the wide receiver is also embarking on the "early stages of dating" Amber Rose, according to TMZ Sports.

Per the report, Beckham has been pursuing the hip hop model for quite some time after meeting her through a mutual friend. Beckham and Rose are apparently very into each other, but have resigned to take it slow in the early stages of their courtship.

That didn't stop Beckham from taking Rose out on the town in New York City and surprising her with a bouquet of white roses, according to TMZ.

The relationship between the two has been building for some time, but it has also been a wild ride. In July, Beckham and Rose were photographed leaving a party very late at night. The situation got a little more personal when a NSFW photo emerged of someone with hair similar to Beckham's trademark locks performing oral sex on a girl that was alleged to be Rose.

Beckham took to the defensive, denying that the picture was of him and Rose, going as far as to post a different photo of his hair on Instagram to show how different the two styles actually were and then going on a six-Tweet rant denying the allegations.

During the series of Tweets, Beckham said his hair is "10x better than that" and when he appeared in a video for "Uninterrupted," he also stated "my hair is way better than that" when the rumor came up, according to Complex.com.

While he denied the allegations, it is believed he began his pursuit of Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa's ex last month and since then, they've been talking and texting a lot and have gone on a few dates.

Beckham will try his best to turn his attention from his personal life to the gridiron, as he looks to build off of an impressive rookie season where he notched 91 catches for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games.

We still say his latest off-field catch is better than any of that.
