During the Yankees' late-90s dynasty, led by a "Core Four" of Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Andy Pettitte and Mariano Rivera, the Yankees became synonomous with class and grace. According to former Yankees employee Paul Priore, in his self-published book "Abused By The New York Yankees," that couldn't be further from the truth.

Priore, a former equipment manager who says he was fired for contracting the HIV virus, has released a tell-all describing a litany of outrageous things going on in the clubhouse. The most eye-catching claim involved Jeter, the captain, and Posada, the team's emotional pulse, per Deadspin.

According to Priore, Jeter and Posada had sex in the sauna at the end of their first season, and then let Priore perform oral sex on them both in order to silence him. Another charged sexual allegation involves former outfielder Gerald Williams, whom Priore said had sex with an underage concession worker.

In another instance, Priore said the Yankees' bullpen camaraderie was taken to a new, scary level when fabled closer Mariano Rivera, along with relievers Jeff Nelson and Bob Wickman attempted to sexually assault him with a bat.

Is Derek Jeter The Greatest Yankees Captain Ever?

Priore accused designated hitter Cecil Fielder of playing while drunk on vodka, and Daryl Strawberry of drinking whiskey during games. And he levied a ton of allegations at deceased owner George Steinbrenner.

According to the book, Steinbrenner spied on players using secret security cameras in the clubhouse, was embroiled in the Iran-Contra Affair, and cooked the team's books. Furthermore, Priore said gambling was rampant in the clubhouse, and involved manager Joe Torre, and coach Don Zimmer, who allegedly used teenage batboys to place his bets at nearby off-track betting offices.

Priore even claims to have audio recordings of Yankees players discussing bets they'd placed against themselves, before engaging in late-night, booze-filled blackjack games with off-duty NYPD cops.
