Rollins will also have his hands full with John Cena as it was revealed last week that "The Architect" will pull double duty at Night of Champions and defend his United States Championship against the Cenation leader.
Superstars advertised for the WWE's flagship show include Rollins, Cena, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt and "Mr. Money in the Bank" Sheamus.
Another intriguing storyline to watch is the one brewing between The Wyatt Family and former Shield stablemates Ambrose and Reigns. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Braun Stroman have a 3-on-2 advantage over the faces, but the former Hounds of Justice members are adding a mystery third partner soon.
The tag team and Divas divisions are also heating up as the Dudley Boyz have been mowing through the competition and are hunting down The New Day, while Charlotte has emerged as No. 1 contender to Nikki Bella's Divas Championship. There is talk of their clash being moved up from Night of Champions.
Bella is on Day 288 of her title reign as she chases AJ Lee's record of 295 days atop the divison. Paige vs. Sasha Banks has been announced for this week's show as well.
With the summer coming to an end, the road to Night of Champions winds through Baltimore this week with RAW.
