Few QBs in the NFL have the prestige and dignity of Peyton Manning. The Broncos QB donates to children's hospitals, gives back to the community and doesn't deflate footballs.

On Wednesday, Scott Hanson provided another reason to admire the man.

Who sends handwritten mail in this day and age? Peyton, that's who.

Now in his 18th season, the former No. 1-overall pick carries a cap hit of $21.5 million—a hefty sum for QB that habitually finds a way to crumble come the postseason.

The question of retirement continually comes up, but remains of no concern for Manning.

"I don't have those thoughts," he said in a promotional interview for NFL Sunday Ticket, per Yahoo Sports. "I think about playing football to the best of my ability in 2015."

Admittedly, Manning can still play at a high level. In 2014, he completed 66.2 percent of his passes for 4,727 yards and 39 TDs. Most of that damage, however, came early on, before his aging legs and injuries impeded his productivity.

In his final four games of the regular season, Manning threw six of his 15 interceptions and coupled it with only three TDs.

Lest we forget, in his putrid playoff loss to the Colts, he was 26-of-46 for 211 yards and failed throw the ball a respectable distance.

Father time is undefeated. It's only a matter of time before Manning sends himself a handwritten letter.
