Amir "King" Khan is busy talking up a possible matchup vs. Manny Pacquiao in Dubai, but IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook, his undefeated countryman, is ramping up his own rhetoric in hopes of goading Khan into a major fight in the U.K.

"I've said it since Day 1. I've said that his whiskers are delicate and when this brownie hits his chin, it's going to shatter and he's going to do that dance he likes to do," Brook said via Boxing Scene. "His whiskers are delicate. He's brittle. He's Bambi on ice, all rolled into one."

Respected Commentator Says Khan-Pacquiao "Has To Happen"

Khan is a more well-known fighter than Brook (35-0, 24 KO), but the latter is the man with a title belt, and a zero in the loss column. Brook is not an unknown either; he made a big statement in the United States last year when he travelled to Carson, California and took the welterweight title away from previously unbeaten Shawn Porter.

Brook said that aside from facing Mayweather, which has not happened for Khan since he began campaigning in late 2013, the next biggest fight is Brook-Khan in Great Britain.

Keith Thurman Says Khan Would "Run Away" From Him

"He's not giving the fans that pay what they want," Brook said. "I've been saying this for a long time. It's the biggest fight out there in Britain, me and Queen Khan. I don't know why he is messing about. He's been bugging Mayweather for the fight for years, he hasn't got the fight, so what's the next fight that's bigger? Me and Khan."

As far as Pacquiao is concerned, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum didn't rule it out, but didn't sound particularly hopeful about it either the last time he commented publicly.

"This takes time and I will present everything to Manny and we'll see what happens," Arum said to Sky Sport.

Pacquiao, who is recovering from labrum surgery, may not be back in the ring this year. Khan, on the other hand, plans on returning to the ring this fall which would push back a Pacquiao clash until spring 2016 at the earliest.

Unfortunately, Brook moved ahead with his plans as one of boxing's more active champions, and has a bout vs. Diego Chaves scheduled for Oct. 24.
