Yips Return During Tiger Woods' Final-Round Effort At Wyndham

Woods, the No. 1 golfer from 1997-2008 and was No. 1 as recently as 2013, finished tied for 10th at the Wyndham Championship last month, his best finish in 2015. He currently is ranked No. 266 in the world.

Woods will play Matt Kuchar at the second annual Bridgestone America's Gold Cup, in Mexico from Oct. 23-25 as part of the PGA Tour Latinoamerica schedule, thegolfnewsnet.com reported. The two will represent the United States.

They were supposed to play in the event last year, but Woods had to withdraw because of his back injury.

Spieth recently lost his No. 1 ranking to Rory McIlroy after missing the cut at The Barclays, the first stop on the FedEx Cup playoffs but will be back at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston this weekend.

He is in second place in the playoff chase, 290 points behind leader and world No. 3 Jason Day.
