George Zimmerman Gun Shopping In Florida For Same Kel-Tec Weapon He Used In Trayvon Martin Shooting

Less than two months after being absolved in the shooting death of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin, admitted gunman George Zimmerman has been photographed gun shopping at a Florida gun shop.

According to TMZ, Zimmerman went in search of a KSG compact Kel-Tec manufactured revolver, the same type weapon he used in the killing of 17-year-old Martin. A self-appointed neighborhood watch captain, Zimmerman later admitted to police he disobeyed direct orders from a 911 dispatcher to seize in following the teenager because he thought he looked suspicious walking through his gated community neighborhood where Martin’s father also resided.

Since the verdict, one of the jurors has told CNN she thought Zimmerman “got away with murder” and will now have to “answer to God.” The juror added she felt the state’s controversial stand-your-ground laws made it virtually impossible for jurors to convict him.

The celebrity gossip site published a picture of Zimmerman smiling and shaking hands with someone described as a Kel-Tec employee. Zimmerman's brother, Robert, later confirmed to CNN the photo of his brother was authentic.

Kel-Tec is headquartered in Cocoa, Florida. The company manufactures, assembles and repairs its line of weapons, and its facility contains a shooting range but does not sell guns, according to its website.
