The 2015 Deutsche Bank Championship will see the return of Rory McIlroy and a recently deposed Jordan Spieth. Along with the PGA Tour's elite, the top 100 in the FedEx Cup standings will vie for positions in the top 70 to continue on to the BMW Championship next Thursday.

The FedEx Cup point values increase with every passing week, forcing players to jockey for position in the standings. The ultimate goal is to make the top 30 for the Tour Championship and a shot at the FedEx Cup.

The corresponding $10 million-plus paycheck won't hinder motivation, either.

Odds

Not even McIlroy's return was enough to deter oddsmakers. Jason Day—who won The Barclays in Edison, New Jersey last Sunday—opened as the odds-on favorite at +600, per Bovada. Spieth, who missed the cut at the event, opened at +750 alongside McIlroy.

Prediction

Not previously mentioned, Henrik Stenson is considered a contender at +1400. The Swede won at TPC Boston in 2013 and most recently finished second behind Day at The Barclays. Leading the tour in greens in regulation, Stenson is as solid a bet as any this week.
