5 Storylines & Rumors For WWE Monday Night RAW
Sting and Rollins are just 20 nights away from what should be an epic encounter for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions on Sept. 20 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Tex. This week, the WWE Universe will see the latest turn in the issues between them.
With Rollins and Sting set to clash, a question remains as to what is next for former United States Champion John Cena. With "The Architect" occupied, the "Cenation" leader may seek out a new foe this week on the WWE's flagship show.
Four matches have been announced for this week's program as Rusev will take on Dolph Ziggler in a SummerSlam rematch and Team PCB will partake in a Beat the Clock challenge. Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch will have three separate one-on-one bouts and whoever wins in the fastest time will be the No. 1 contender for Nikki Bella's Divas Championship.
Bella enters Day 281 of her title reign as she hunts AJ Lee's record of 295 days, but Team B.A.D. will likely make its presence known after Sasha Banks made the champion tap out two weeks ago.
Another division that will get a lot of attention is the tag team scene as champions The New Day encountered a new problem. The Dudley Boyz made their return to RAW for the first time in a decade last week and have now made the division even more intriguing.
With 20 days until Night of Champions there is sure to be a lot of storylines woven in headed into the big event this week on RAW.
