Hard Knocks 2016: Three Teams For Next Season That Will Be More Entertaining Than The Texans

Hard Knocks this season has been fairly tame through two episodes, and even though the Texans’ assistant strength coach Sean Hayes does a tremendous Macho Man Randy Savage impression, this season is lacking the superb personas that have stolen past shows.

Here are three teams that would be better fits for Hard Knocks in 2016.

Tampa Bay Bucs Fantasy Preview

Seattle Seahawks

The loudmouth aspect will absolutely be held down by CB Richard Sherman, possibly the most opinionated player in the entire league. Marshawn Lynch, if he’s still in town, will be hilarious for his media dealings once again. And QB Russell Wilson is just a magnet for attention; hopefully for HBO he’s still with R&B singer Ciara when next offseason rolls around.

In terms of actual football, the Seahawks are first-class on the field. The battles between their top-notch defense vs. an elite QB (Wilson) could be epic clashes of trash talking and hitting, all with high-energy head coach Pete Carroll running the show. I want this.

5 Things To Know About EK Enemkpali, The Guy Who Slugged Geno Smith

New York Jets

We already saw the Jets with Rex Ryan, and it was a classic season of Hard Knocks. Todd Bowles seems infinitely less entertaining than Sexy Rexy, but the Jets antics have not changed. Sheldon Richardson was arrested for about 50 different things, and was suspended already for failing a drug test. Geno Smith was decked by a teammate and had his jaw broken.

Why aren’t the Jets already signed up for next year?!?!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

How easy is it to sell training camp with “Famous” Jameis Winston? The Bucs rookie has a huge personality that is on display whenever a camera is in front of him. Recent stories about Winston pestering roommates with late-night quizzes about the playbook only make him more intriguing.

Winston has all the personality that the Texans lack, and he has the potential to explode like Chad Ochocinco once did. The Bucs will sign up for that.
