Despite their belief of being the biggest club in all of football, there are those who supercede Manchester United, chief among them Real Madrid. In recent years, the Red Devils have lost out on transcendent talent to the Spanish capital, including some of their own.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the first domino to fall in 2009, but he won't be the last.

Instead of delaying the inevitable, let's look ahead at the two players United will eventually be forced to sell.

David De Gea

For some, De Gea's arrival to Madrid is a foregone conclusion.

The Spanish international has been left on the bench in each of United's first three contests, hoping to force a transfer. Newly acquired goalkeeper Sergio Romero guarded the posts for the club in his place.

De Gea rejected a lucrative £200,000-a-week deal, per the Daily Star. Real are allegedly willing to splash £35 million to acquire his services. With his contract expiring at season's end, it's only a matter of time before De Gea is Madrid's new No. 1.

Memphis Depay

Rio Ferdinand already set the standard for Memphis Depay in Manchester.

"I think the thing that excites you as well is that you can see he wants to be a star, he wants to be the main man, he wants the ball all the time, he wants to be the man at the end of moves who shoots and scores," Ferdinand said, per the Daily Mail. "This crowd [at Old Trafford] love and warm to people like that. You've seen it over the years with the likes of [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Wayne] Rooney."

Early on in his career, Memphis is walking down the same path as his Portuguese counterpart...and he'll follow it all the way to Madrid.

An impressive display against Club Brugge on Tuesday prompted "transfer rumors" for the 20-year-old on Twitter.

What Real Madrid want, Real Madrid get. Especially if what they want is residing in Manchester.
