The WWE may have given away the results to two critical matches at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn during Thursday night's NXT tapings.

Kevin Owens came out holding the NXT Championship during a match against Neville that was filmed for either the Aug. 26 or Sept. 2 editions of the show, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com.

The Rock May Get Involved In Roman Reigns' Match At SummerSlam

Owens is challenging Finn Balor for the NXT Championship in a Ladder Match at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn next Saturday at the Barclays Center on the eve of SummerSlam. Owens coming out with the belt for an episode that was taped and set to air after the Takeover special seems to hint that he may be going over Balor at the big event.

The WWE also taped the go-home episode of NXT, which airs next Thursday night, and it closed out with Balor standing on top of a ladder with his title saying he will defeat Owens when they clash in Brooklyn.

Owens dropped the NXT Championship to Balor on the July 4 WWE Network special from Tokyo in a move that seemed to hint that KO would be a full-time part of the main roster going forward.

Owens winning the title would be a bit of a curious move because he is a full-time main roster star and is also booked for SummerSlam the next night at the Barclays Center, where he's set to battle Cesaro.

Balor also recently hinted that he might make waves at SummerSlam when he posted a picture of Paul Heyman in a SummerSlam graphic on his official Instagram with a caption that hinted he would be the next Paul Heyman Guy on 8.23.15, which is the night of The Biggest Party of the Summer.

It's likely that regardless of who wins the NXT title, they will both be on the main roster together in the near future.

In another possible spoiler, NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks worked the tapings for Aug. 26 and Sept. 2 and appeared with her belt in tow. This might be an indication that The Boss will defeat Bayley in their match at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn to retain her championship. Banks successfully defended her gold against the debuting Gionna Daddio at Thursday's tapings.

The WWE could be swerving its fans with the recent happenings, but it could also be an indication that two of its biggest matches have been spoiled.
