WWE star Roman Reigns was involved in a fan incident this weekend in Canada, but he isn't the first Superstar to ever have an unruly encounter with a member of the WWE Universe.

Police were called after a fan threw a replica Money in the Bank briefcase into the ring and it hit Reigns in the back of the head at Saturday's event in Victoria, British Columbia, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com.

Per the report, Reigns was stunned by the incident and sat in the corner while his opponent, Bray Wyatt, stalled.

The fan was removed from the arena and it was revealed he snuck the briefcase into the show. He was arrested, but charges were dropped after he apologized and there were no injuries from the incident.

Reigns and Wyatt had their match as planned after the unexpected delay.

The fan, who is 31 years of age, was then banned from all future WWE shows.

While the incident was shocking, it wasn't the first time that a member of the WWE Universe mixed it up with a Superstar.

Here are five of the craziest fan incidents in the history of the WWE:

5) Game Over

Triple H may draw the ire of the WWE Universe as the leader of The Authority, but even back in 2003 some fans were chomping at the bit to get their hands on The Cerebral Assassin.

One such fan attempted to jump the railing during a WWE live event, but he was quickly discarded by security. Nevertheless, Triple H looked angry and spat at the fan's friends, seemingly ready to take them on before his actual match.

4) Assault & Battery

During the road to WrestleMania XIV in March 1998, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Mike Tyson got together for a special DX outdoor workout.

Michaels, the reigning WWE Champion at the time, was in the middle of a promo when one member of the audience apparently didn't care for what The Heartbreak Kid had to say.

The fan pelted a battery off of the future Hall of Famer's head, causing him to walk out of the ring and leave the area despite being in the middle of a promo. Triple H and Tyson looked around confused while Vince McMahon later said HBK "wasn't in the right frame of mind that day."

3) Latino Heat

Eddie Guerrero was on the cusp of grabbing the Intercontinental Championship during a Ladder Match against Rob Van Dam on an episode of Monday Night RAW in 2002 when a fan had other ideas.

This bold member of the WWE Universe managed to get into the ring and push Guerrero off the ladder. Latino Heat didn't take it well and the fan got a punch to the face from Guerrero for his troubles.

2) CM Punk vs. The WWE Universe

CM Punk is a Superstar who was always well-liked by the WWE Universe, but things quickly turned ugly on an episode of RAW in October 2012.

After a verbal battle with WWE CEO Vince McMahon, Punk ended up leaving through the crowd with is WWE Championship in tow, which unexpectedly led him into a physical sparring session.

After glaring back at a fan for bumping into him on a few different occasions, Punk snapped and unleashed a backhand on them. Punk's next punch will occur in the Octagon, if he ever decides to make his UFC debut.

1) Chris Jericho vs. A Girl

Victoria, British Columbia is apparently a rough place for WWE Superstars as six years prior to Reigns' incident this weekend, Chris Jericho got involved in an ugly altercation with a female fan.

After cutting an anti-Canada promo despite his Canadian heritage at a live event in 2009, Jericho was walking to his car after the show when a gaggle of fans came up to him.

One of the female fans wanted Jericho's autograph and after she refused to take no for an answer, she spat on him. Y2J then punched her in the face and things took a crazy turn from there with the insanity leading to Jericho screaming at the security guards, "Do your f--king jobs."
