Aaron Hernandez poured his heart out in a letter to a pen pal buddy in which he laments not being around for his nine-month-old daughter “I miss my little girl terribly, my biggest fear of all is she won’t (sic) daddy. She said daddy for the first time of should I say “Da Da,” and I had to hear it from jail.”
The former New England Patriots star remains jailed without bail and relegated to solitary confinement in the execution-style slaying of one-time associate and former semi-pro football Odin Lloyd.
According to Bossip.com, Hernandez also takes the time to blast the media in his letter, adding “I’m a great dude. Don’t believe all the negative publicity. Media is the negative of the fame. I’m doing fine but I wanted to write you and definitely wanted to say thanks for the support. Hope to hear back from you.”
Investigators have since theorized Hernandez, 23, may have been motivated by his fear Lloyd might finger his alleged role in an unsolved 2012 double homicide in Boston. Several searches of his home and other property connected to him have yet to turn up a murder weapon and in recent days police have turned their attention to his fiancée Shayanna Jenkins, asserting , she made “overt attempts to hide evidence ... and to hinder and mislead" the investigation.
