Tonight's bout is the most emotionally charged fight for Rousey since she submitted Miesha Tate in Round 3 of her undercard bout at UFC 168. It was one of the few fights in which a Rousey opponent lasted beyond Round 1, and that reportedly was by design.

Rousey was enraged during the buildup of this bout by flippant remarks about suicide made by Correia, who claimed she didn't know Rousey's father had committed suicide when she was young. Despite an online apology, Rousey said she wants to draw out the punishment come fight night.

Rousey responded with her own post, and in the caption wrote "Your disrespect to my father, family and friends is not forgotten. I am your comeuppance. And this will not be over quickly. I will make sure you feel every moment of the lesson I'm going to teach you."

Correia has experienced major success in the UFC as well. She is 9-0-0, with two knockouts and seven decisions. Unlike Rousey, Correia likes to keep her fights standing up, and lands six strikes per minute which doubles Rousey's rate. Correia isn't fazed by Rousey's aura of invincibility, nor the breathless coverage she receives.

"Everybody has holes in their game, and Ronda does, too," Correia says. "You might not know it because the media doesn't talk about it. But she has holes in her game, too."

Prediction: Rousey def. Correia by submission (Round 2)
