Oklahoma State star point guard Marcus Smart and incoming Kentucky stud recruit Julius Randle, both of whom are expecting to be at the top of all NBA draft boards next season, recently got together for an open gym run in Texas that ended with the two engaging in an impromptu dunk-off that stole the show.

One after another, the two pulled off high-flying acts that would rival any of those one might witness during an NBA All-Star Weekend dunk competition.

The six feet, four inch Smart is known for turning heads. Last season, he shocked NBA execs and Oklahoma State coaches alike by announcing he was foregoing the chance to enter the NBA Draft and returning for his sophomore season with the Cowboys.

At the time, Smart was projected to be a lottery pick and perhaps even a top five-selection. He averaged 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists a game in leading Oklahoma State to a 24-8 record and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

The 6-9 Randle joins the Wildcats as a consensus top 5 player from a 2013 high school class that also includes Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker. In August of 2012, he won the Under Armour Elite 24 dunk contest and the next day tallied 27 points in leading his team to victory and earning the MVP award.
