SummerSlam, the WWE's second-biggest event behind WrestleMania, will invade the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Aug. 23 and there are a lot of rumors that Sting may return to the squared circle for a match in the Big Apple.

The WWE announced that The Vigilante will appear live at the 40/40 Club in the Barclays Center at 1 p.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 21 for a special meet and greet with the WWE Universe.

Tickets for the event cost $125 and include an 8x10 autographed photo of Sting and a photo-op with the legendary wrestler taken by a professional photographer. The Ticketmaster pre-sale for the session begins July 30.

There has been a lot of speculation that Sting will have just his second match ever in a WWE ring at SummerSlam.

So far, the rumor is that the former WCW and TNA icon will join forces with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to take on The Wyatt Family at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Luke Harper reunited with Bray Wyatt at Battleground this past Sunday, helping him overcome Reigns in their singles match at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

Ambrose has since come to the aid of Reigns and the two factions have been at war for the past week in a rivalry that stems back to two years ago when The Shield and Wyatt Family were at odds.

There have been rumors that a third member will be added to The Wyatt Family to help fend off the former Hounds of Justice stablemates and that Sting will then be inserted as a surprise addition to the mix, leading into a high-profile six-man tag team match at SummerSlam.

Erick Rowan is injured in real life and will likely miss the rest of 2015, so it's unknown who will fill the void as the third member of the Wyatt's trio.

Sting made his WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania 31 in a losing effort to Triple H on March 29, but he's been out of the spotlight ever since.

That could all change during the WWE's biggest event of the summer.

SummerSlam is already generating a lot of buzz with the announcement that Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker will go one-on-one at the event in a rematch from WrestleMania XXX.

Now that Sting is also rumored for the event, there is a lot of interest at stake in The Biggest Party of the Summer.
