After Scottie Pippen returned Shaquille O'Neal's trash talk on Instagram, Shaq simply went to the video.

The two NBA Hall of Famers have engaged in a social media argument about which franchise - the Los Angeles Lakers or the Chicago Bulls - has the better team, based on each's five best players.

Shaquille O'Neal says Robert Horry's seven NBA titles should put him in the Hall of Fame

While the debate over the better team started by O'Neal - the Lakers five includes Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, Shaq and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and the Bulls five includes Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Derrick Rose, Dennis Rodman and (for some reason) Horace Grant - Pippen called out Shaq, saying his Bulls teams won six championship rings to the Lakers' three with Shaq.

Then, it was on!

Shaq says he'd rather play with Kobe Bryant than LeBron James in their primes

With the use of photoshop, Shaq said that Jordan was more responsible than Pippen for the Bulls championships, then even said that Steve Kerr and Ron Harper had a bigger hand in the Bulls dynasty.

O'Neal referred to Pippen as #BESTSIDEKICKEVER.

Pippen jabbed back about O'Neal's porous free throw shooting, then retorted that the big man had his share of partners in crime, including Kobe, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.

Just as Shaq understated Pippen's importance to the Bulls' cause, Pippen undervalued O'Neal as the Lakers' primary weapon during their three-year run from 2000-02.

O'Neal then upped the ante with video of a Kobe Bryant crossover dribble against Pippen and the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference Finals that ended with an alley-oop to Shaq that helped the Lakers eliminate the Trail Blazers during their first NBA title with Shaq and Kobe.

Your move, Scottie. Make it a good one.
