Brie Bella recently gave the WWE Universe an update on the injury status of her husband Daniel Bryan and said that she was having "baby fever."

Bryan has been out with an injury since shortly after WrestleMania 31 in March, which caused him to forfeit the Intercontinental Championship he won in a seven-man Ladder Match at the event.

It marked the second straight year Bryan had to forfeit gold after winning it at WrestleMania as he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship a year ago at WrestleMania XXX and had to relinquish it due to a serious neck injury.

Bryan had surgery on his neck and subsequently lost feeling in his right arm, causing him to miss the remainder of 2014.

Bella spoke with The Mirror in the United Kingdom about Bryan's career-threatening ailment, which cropped up again just months after he returned from his original surgery.

"You know he's doing really well, he is, but it has been very hard," Bella said. "This injury unlike any other has just been the hardest because in the past we at least knew, 'okay it's surgery, this long to recover', he unfortunately had a relapse, but then we knew how long it would be to recover after the relapse. But with this one it's so unclear and that's the hard thing. As a wife, to put myself away from wrestling, as a wife it's so hard to see your husband go through this."

Bella said that it was tough to go through the situation with Bryan since he loves competing in the ring and performing in front of the WWE Universe.

"I mean, you know when doctors are starting to think, and you see his dreams come crashing down, it breaks my heart," she said. "To the point where I wish I was in his position and he was in mine because I hate seeing him like that. But my husband has so much fight in him and he tells me every day, 'I'm getting back in that ring, just you watch' and I'm like, 'oh I bet you will'. I have his support 100% and I really think he will get back in there, I really do. He doesn't see it any other way."

Bella is featured heavily on Total Divas this season and she spoke about her and her sister Nikki's decision to stay with the company after they contemplated leaving. She also admitted she had "baby fever" and hopes to have a child someday soon.

"That's what's actually great about this season," Bella told Digital Spy in the U.K. "You'll get to see the reasons why Nikki and I do go back and forth on re-signing. I'm gonna be 32, I'm married to this amazing man and I have crazy baby fever. I so badly want to become a mother. The hard part in my career is I that can't do both. With Nikki too, I think people sometimes don't realize how much we're on the road. There's no time off, there's no vacations and you miss your family."

She continued: "You start looking at all the wedding pictures and family reunions and you start realizing you're not a part of those pictures. I think you start craving the simple life. But then you sometimes realize you're not ready for it yet - but you'll see that this season."

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Bella and Bryan inside and outside the ring, but the Total Divas cameras will be there to capture it all.
