All eyes are on Tiger Woods at the PGA Championship from Oak Hill in Rochester, New York. While Woods has been dominant this year, emerging victorious in five PGA events, he has yet to bring home a major. His quest for major No. 15 can be live streamed here, and he tees off for Day 2 at 1:45 p.m.

Woods had his struggles early on to kick off the tournament, bogeying on the fourth hole and double bogeying on the ninth, before recovering with birdies on holes 13 and 15 down the stretch.

Woods finished at 1-over-par, five strokes behind the leader, Jim Furyk. His scorecard is full of pars on the back end, which looks fine on paper but did not satisfy the world's No. 1 golfer.

"The round realistically could have been under par easily," said Woods, who then took an optimistic view despite missing a few opportunities to lower his score.

"I played really well today. One loose 9-iron shot [on the fourth hole]. I made a few par putts out there as well. As I say, I feel like I played well enough and made some nice key putts, and the key is I left it in good spots too. I'm still right there. I mean ... as of right now, I'm only six back and we have a long way to go."

Woods' top competition heading into this major, Phil Mickelson, who took home the U.S. Open recently also shot a 1-over-par 71 on Day 1. While his result was the same as Tiger's his route was more circuitous. Mickelson registered four birdies for the day, as well as a bogey and two double bogeys.

Lefty can call himself the winner of the Scottish Open and U.S. Open in the very recent past, however, and shouldn't be worried moving forward. Like Woods, he's just six strokes back and very much in the mix.
