Floyd Mayweather Jr. has called out two unexpected names for his next fight-Andre Berto and Karim Mayfield-which has raised eyebrows. Berto's inclusion is beginning to make sense though. According to reports, Mayweather has been harassing Berto on the phone because of his friendly relationship with Mayweather's ex-fiancee Shantel Jackson.

Berto says Mayweather and his associates have not stopped calling his phone and he'd like it to stop.

"If we gonna fight, we gonna fight. If not, take my name out of your mouth brother," Berto said. He then made his case to fight Mayweather and promised a better show than Manny Pacquiao was able to give in "The Fight of the Century."

"For damn sure it would be a good fight. I'm one of the only guys who can match him speed for speed and everyone knows me for having explosive power. It's going to be a lot better than that Pacquiao s**t you had."

Amir Khan is believed to be the frontrunner for a September fight vs. Mayweather, but his resume has been called into question. The same can be said for Berto too, who lost back-to-back bouts against Robert Guerrero and Jesus Soto Karass in 2012 and 2013. He's rebounded with two victories, but both were against journeymen nowhere near Mayweather's class.

Berto said he just wants to stop being tormented on the phone regardless of whether the fight happens or not.

"I know its him on the other line. I can hear him breathing on the other end of the phone. Stop getting people to call my phone bro, and asking me about this person and that person. Don't do that s**t. That s**t is lame. It's corny. He has too much money for that.
