What They're Saying
Canada head coach John Herdman (via FIFA): "Top of the group. That's a job well done. We wanted to finish first, so that we could return to BC Place. But we know that we need to work on a few things because the games that are coming up will be even harder."
Switzerland head coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg (via FIFA): We got into the game [against Cameroon] very well initially and we performed many aspects of our game correctly, but we did miss a lot of opportunities. And after our opponent scored, there was a certain insecurity from us, and we also didn't play with enough aggression up front. We knew that we had to score goals against Cameroon if we were to win the game. I have to say it was a deserved victory from Cameroon in the end."
