Perhaps as a Father's Day gift, Caroline Wozniacki can sit down with her dad and explain how mobile phone technology works.
ESPN talked about Wozniacki's charmed life, which includes launching her own line of candy for Godiva Chocolates, and captured a tweet from the No. 5 women's tennis player in which she pokes fun at her father Piotr, who doubles as her coach.
"And yet it seems that she gets stuck having the exact same conversation with her dad that many of us do," ESPN reported. "Because when it comes to dads and texting, it seems that no one -- no matter how rich or famous -- is safe. See for yourself below, but be warned you'll probably find yourself vigorously nodding as you read it."
Poor Wozniacki. Her perfect world is shattered. And only one day after she announced the arrival of her own signature Godiva Chocolates, called -- appropriately enough -- "Sweet Caroline."
Wozniacki's life -- other than her father's mobile-phone mishap, has done a 180 since May, 2014 when then-fiance Rory McIlroy infamously broke up with her over the phone.
The Danish tennis player resurrected her career with a US Open finals appearance and a season-ending WTA Finals appearance where she lost to her new BFF Serena Williams in both events.
This year, Williams has had to share Wozniacki's time with a new gentleman caller. Wozniacki accompanied reported new boyfriend and Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt to the NCAA men's basketball National Championship Game.
Watt then accompanied Wozniacki to Paris to watch her play in the French Open.
Wozniacki probably wouldn't mind a few more wins in 2015 -- she's 24-11 on the season -- but she was enjoying a pretty good year, otherwise. Until her dad/coach had to ruin it.
