Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC Adrien "The Problem" Broner will appear on his third Premier Boxing Champions telecast when he squares off with former IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter, a fellow Ohio native. The showdown will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and can be live streamed free by free by clicking this link .

Broner, despite being a former welterweight titlist himself, has imposed a 144-pound catch weight for this fight as well as a 155-pound re-hydration limit for fight night. Since getting dropped twice in December 2013 by Marcos Maidana, Broner has fought three bouts at junior welterweight and won all of them with ease.

Porter represents a steep upgrade in opposition, but being drained down to 144 pounds could have a severe effect. Porter, of course, is out to prove it makes little to no difference.

"I'm a big, powerful and strong guy and he's just trying to gain any advantage possible to pain me and win the fight," Porter said of the catch weight.

"In some ways I feel like it doesn't need to be talked about because I'm going to have to do what I'm going to have to do. I wasn't the one that obviously made that stipulation, that was him. So someone has to ask him why he wants that."

Porter was clear that while he plans on making the 144-pound limit, he does not expect to fight below 147 pounds moving forward.

"I'm not looking past Adrien. That said, we made this fight at 144 pounds. Beyond that there's no other reason to fight anywhere lower than welterweight. I'm a 147-pound fighter and I want to fight the best welterweights at their strongest-not a blown up 140-pound fighter, not a talked down 154-pound fighter. I want to face the best at their best."

Prediction: Adrien Broner def. Shawn Porter by split decision.
