LeBron James may be the world's best basketball player but hoops is just one of his many talents. As a leader, father, husband and spokesman for Beats by Dre, Nike and Sprite the outside world sees LeBron with a constant seal of success. There is still one thing yet to be determined about James' career: his acting skills.

James has a lead role in this summer's most anticipated romantic comedy Trainwreck, staring Bill Hader and Amy Schumer. James plays himself in the movie following in the steps of pro ballers like Matt Barnes, Shannon Brown and Metta World Peace (aka Ron Artest), who all had cameos in Think Like A Man.

There are a lot of bright stars in the NBA,but which ones have the ability to make the transition from the hardwood to the big screen? Here are the five star players who we think can hold their own in movies.

No. 5- Carmelo Anthony

Melo is mainly known for his scoring ability, but he did come to New York for something bigger than basketball right? Like Frank Sinatra says--if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. Anthony did an acting job this past season showing how pleased he was with the talent around him. If he can take that state of mind and memorize some lines we may see him in a dramatic comedy.

No. 4- Stephen Curry

Curry is fresh off an MVP and championship season --- there is no one hotter in the league right now than the ''Baby-Faced Assassin." He could use his youthful looks to play the jock in a Disney high school film. And if Steph doesn't work out, just bring in Riley Curry.

No. 3- Chris Paul

It's fitting that CP3 is listed in the third spot and already poses as agent Cliff Paul, so his acting skills come naturally. We'd love to see Paul in a mystery movie, giving out assists to the police as a private investigator.

No. 2- Dwayne Wade

The Miami Heat superstar has been a force since he entered the NBA back in 2003 and could be a serious threat on the big screen also. Wade's sense of style paired with a Miami backdrop is perfect for a cop who always catches the criminals and looks fashionable doing it.

No. 1- Blake Griffin

Not many people know that Griffin is actually funny. He had the ESPY crowd laughing last year with his Drake sketch and his Funny or Die videos are hilarious. Griffin is the master of disguise and knows how to work a camera.
